I've thought about renting a doppler online. I think it would be so neat to hear our baby's heartbeat each night. Any suggestions? If you've rented one before, what web site did you use? How soon could you hear the heartbeat? The web sites are saying 10 - 12 weeks so I'm curious. I'll be 11 weeks on Tuesday!

10 Weeks
Here are our 10 weeks pictures (please excuse the shadows):
Symptoms include: hunger, exhaustion and gagging when I brush my teeth...ewww!
Oh, and this is my Mimi Maternity skirt that I bought at Motherhood Maternity. It was orginally $60 but I got it on sale for $20. It has cute, little pleats in the back. It has an attached band. The band is folded down in this picture. The day of this picture I wore it all the up (covering my belly) because it's more comfortable.

Fourth Ultrasound
We had our second ultrasound with our ob/gyn. It was amazing! As soon as the ultrasound started we could see our baby's arms and legs moving. It looked like our baby was swimming. These pictures do not do the ultrasound experience justice. It's hard to see our baby's arms and legs. Oh well...maybe the pictures of our next ultrasound will be better!
I almost forgot to update you on Baby B. He or she is still there and measuring at 6.5 weeks (of course, no heartbeat though). Our RE was wrong when he said we wouldn't be able to see Baby B at our next ultrasound.

Announcing our Pregnancy
I announced our pregnancy at school today. I told my principal first. Then I told a few of my favorite teachers. I'm sure the news has spread like wild fire. It feels good to come out of hiding. It's such an exciting experience! I went ahead and shared the news on facebook as well. It's officially been shared with all family, close friends and now the masses. Our baby is one lucky baby!
Oh and an interesting fact. I'm the fifth teacher to share pregnancy news with my principal. All five of us are due around March. I only know of one other teacher...ummm, I wonder who else?

Third Ultrasound
We graduated from our RE's office. We had our last ultrasound on Saturday. I thought I was 8 weeks and 4 days but our baby measured 8 weeks and 6 days. He or she was 22 mm so just about an inch long! Our RE said sometimes you can see the baby move but we didn't get to see it move. It was curled up and sleeping. Baby B's sac was still there but just a little smaller. Our RE confirmed that we have one healthy baby and that the other baby is a vanishing twin. He said Baby B's sac will be reaborbed.
Our next ultrasound is Monday, August 24th. I love these ultrasounds. I get to have one every other week. I know it will slow down and I'll have to wait longer to see our baby so I'm enjoying it now!
Here are the beautiful pictures of our miracle:
Baby B's sac is to the right of Baby A.

Second Ultrasound
Today I went to my ob/gyn to have my "sneak" ultrasound. I haven't been released to her yet but she has always told me I could come by for an early sneak peak. Her ultrasound machine doesn't compare to my RE's. It's just not as clear and can't zoom in as close. I showed her my first ultrasound pictures and she said "Wow! I'm jealous of their machine!" Anyway, right away we saw both sacs. She was able to measure Baby A at 9.6 mm which measures around 7 weeks, I think. I was a little confused on how she came up with the weeks of my pregnancy. I think she based it on the first day of my last cycle. She couldn't measure Baby B because she could only see a yolk sac and gestational sac. She couldn't find a baby. She pretty much confirmed that we will be having one baby. We are sad for Baby B but what can we do? My ob/gyn said that since we've seen a heart beat everything is looking great BUT sometimes in twin pregnancies if you lose one baby your chances of losing the other baby increases. That really freaked me out. I'm sure DH wishes she wouldn't have told me that bit of information. Now I'll be worried until our next ultrasound.
Good news though! I heard the heart beat. It was really neat! Our baby's heart was beating at 161 bpm.
Our next and last ultrasound with my RE is next Saturday (not this Saturday). I'll be around 8 1/2 weeks.

6 Weeks
My six weeks pictures are below. They were taken at Harbour Island, SC while we were on vacation. The babies had lots of firsts: swimming in the ocean, kayaking in the ocean, going to a wedding and dancing the Cupid Shuffle, Cha Cha Slide and Electric Slide. My symptoms have been the same as last week with the exception of constantly feeling nauseated. Oh and I added the babies first ultrasound pictures to the post below.
